To make this route we have two options: exit from the parking lot of the base of the station Ordino-Arcalís, at 1. 940 meters, or from the end of the road, to 1. 990 m. If we go for the first one, we have to go up the slopes until we connect with the mountain ski route La Coma. We'll follow this route until we find the summer road that goes up to the ponds of Tristaina. We'll leave the summer first on our left and start going back up, following roughly the summer path and always leaving the ponds on the left.. We'll cross a small pond and end up in the harbor of Arbella.. Depending on the snow conditions, knives may be needed to make the last stretch to the harbor. We can go down the same path, up the small promontory that separates the ponds from the ski slopes, or, if there is enough snow and the waterfall is covered, we can choose to follow the course of the river and go down directly to the dam to link with the La Canaleta track, which will leave us at the parking lot below
