From the Castellar Bridge, we'll cross the track and head into the valley of the Old Comis River.. Shortly after the climb begins, we cross the river and gain altitude along the right bank to the Varilles coma.. At the Varilles comma, and before reaching the Rialb gate, we turn left (north) and continue climbing through the areas of smoother slope to an esplanade. From here we'll continue north, climbing a little bit up a little bit, but a little bit, up a hill.. Once we get to this point, we can go a little further up the back or even get a little bit into the shovel with the skis.. The uppermost part usually requires knives or staples and a chicken, depending on the conditions. There are several options for downloading. The first, if the stability conditions are not optimal, is to descend the same as the climb, the safest way.. When the snow is well stabilized, you can descend the west slope of the summit. This shovel is large and sloping enough to trigger floods big enough to bury us, so we'll just have to wait for the conditions to be favorable.. The third option is to descend the Carnissera channel, an option reserved only for experienced skiers, both for the difficulty (sloping around 40°) and for the exposure to the algae. In this case, once the canal is down, it will be necessary to go back to the Rialb gate and down the Varilles comma and the Old Comis
