From the Castellar Bridge we cross the track and we enter the valley of the river of the Old Comis. We'll walk a few meters parallel to the river, then turn right and continue up the forest.. Once we leave the forest boundary, we continue down the left valley towards a steep channel at the bottom, which gives access to the Mid-Coma. Once we're at the top, we'll head west to climb a small ridge where the Swallow Lake rises.. We'll cross the slope towards the lake.. It is a complex terrain area where the consequences of a landslide will be amplified by the terrain configuration, with numerous traps.. A little purge could bury us all, so it's best to separate the group well.. We'll cross the lake on the left bank and continue up the valley floor looking for the least steep terrain until we reach the port of the Esbalçat Lake.. Depending on the snow conditions knives or clips and a chicken will be needed. The descent is the same way
