From the same bend at km 6, we will climb heading south, skirting a private property, and enter the forest of l’Obac dels Cortals. We will follow the camí d’Ensagents and, at the 2,010 m contour, we will come to a path junction and take the one on the right. We will climb gradually, pass through a clearing (private property) and then reach the junction with the camí de la Coma dels Llops. We will not take it and will continue along the left-hand path, crossing a second clearing (la pleta de Baix). On reaching the end of the clearing (2,210 m), we will continue southeast along the solana d’Ensagents to the hut (2,425 m). This route is also ideal for snowshoeing. On the way back, when we reach the second footbridge, we will descend traversing the shady (north-facing) slope down to the forest track.
