From the village of Ransol we will take the carretera de la Coma until we reach the pont de Mos, where we will continue along the road on the right to the end (borda del Marticella), at 1,940 m. For the first 50 m we will climb heading NE until we find a clearing. We will cross it heading E and at the 2,000 m contour take the left-hand fork of the summer path. We will gain altitude through the bosc d’Entor to the planells d’Entor, at 2,100 m. From here we will make a diagonal to the right above the treeline to the pleta del Querol (2,184 m) and continue to l’estanyó del Querol (2,303 m) and the basses de les Salamandres (2,343 m). We will continue heading E and descend gentle slopes to els assaladors de Cabana Sorda. We will cross the river and continue across the flats to the Cabana Sorda hut (2,297 m).
