From the Cubil de Grau Roig car park we will cross the chairlift departure area and head towards the restaurants. There are already signs there for the Grau Roig ski touring circuits; we will have to follow the Montmalús one, which is marked with posts painted red and white. The climb starts gently through the Colells forest until we reach a flatter area, where we will turn right. Once we have passed a small step, we will already be in the valley that leads us directly to the Montmalús pass. On this stretch, depending on snow conditions, ski crampons may be necessary. From the pass we will already see the Montmalús lake and hut. The return is made by the same route.
