From the Grau Roig car park we will cross the chairlift departure area and head towards the restaurants. There are already signs there for the Grau Roig ski touring circuits; we will have to follow the circ d'Envalira one, which is marked with posts painted red and white. At the level of the Vodka Bar we will leave the circuit and climb through the forest behind the bar, heading SE. We will reach a flatter area just before the wall, which we will have to cross to get to the circ dels Colells. We can tackle this steeper section from different sides, depending on the state of the snow. Once past it, we will reach the circ dels Colells, with a very gentle slope, and we will climb it up to the small summit to the right of the col. At this point we will take off our skis and put on our crampons to progress along the crest to the summit, which is about 400 metres further on. We will descend by the same route.
