From the Grau Roig car park we will cross the chairlift departure area and head towards the restaurants. There are already signs there for the Grau Roig ski touring circuits; we will have to follow the circ d'Envalira one, which is marked with posts painted red and white. At the level of the Vodka Bar, we will leave the circuit and climb through the forest behind the bar, heading SE. We will reach a flatter area just before the wall, which we will have to cross to get to the circ dels Colells. We can tackle this steeper section from different sides, depending on the state of the snow. Once past it, we will reach the circ dels Colells, with a very gentle slope. We continue straight to the col and from there we ski down to the estany d'Engaït. At the lake we will have to put our skis back on and climb the gentlest terrain we can find up to the portella de Joan Antoni. From here we will ski down slopes steeper than 35°, which will gradually ease off until we reach the pistes. Depending on snow conditions, ski crampons or an ice axe and crampons may be necessary. This circular route can also be done in the opposite direction.
