From the village of Ransol we will take the carretera de la Coma until we reach the pont de Mos, where we will continue along the road on the left until we find snow. From the end of the road, at 1,953 m, we will set off northwest along the left of the riu dels Meners and, after about 500 m, cross it. We will climb parallel to the river, reach a large flat area (2,180 m) and pass to the right of two consecutive rocky bumps. We will leave the frontal couloir on the right and go up the second one (the tube). At the second lake (2,447 m), we will make a diagonal heading west through the clots d'Embolcar and climb north up a wide, steep slope. At the col, we will see the estany dels Meners de la Coma below and a small hut from an old iron mine. We will reach the ridge of the pic de la Serrera and follow it up to the summit. Ski crampons or an ice axe and crampons may be necessary on this route. The couloir (tube), the access to the collada dels Meners and the ridge to the summit are the most delicate sections.
