From the village of Ransol we will take the carretera de la Coma until we reach the pont de Mos, where we will continue along the road on the left until we find snow. From the end of the road, at 1,953 m, we will cross the bridge (picnic area) and enter the bosc de l'Hostal del Poll heading east. After about 200 m, we will reach the top of the clearing, where we will find the summer path, and follow it northwest. We will cross the riu de Jan and climb the gentle slopes on the left to the hut (2,218 m). We will continue north towards the impressive rock band of the Roc de Cóms and, once past the first step (2,300 m), we will angle left towards the collet dels Cóms de Jan. From there, we will begin a long diagonal above the rock band towards the northeast to the collada de Jan (2,652 m). We will reach the pic de Mil Menut along the ridge. The final stretch is the steepest. Ski crampons or an ice axe and crampons may be necessary depending on snow conditions.
