From the village of Ransol we will take the carretera de la Coma until we reach the pont de Mos, where we will continue along the road on the left until we find snow. From the end of the road, at 1,953 m, we will cross the bridge (picnic area) and enter the bosc de l'Hostal del Poll heading east. After about 200 m, we will reach the top of the clearing, where we will find the summer path, and follow it northwest. We will cross the riu de Jan and climb the gentle slopes on the left to the hut (2,218 m).
